Microsoft Load Screen - Then the Computer turns off06 Sep 2008 17:08 GMT-
So I have recently purchased Windows Vista Home Premium (English) and
every time I attempt to load from the DVD to a new Harddrive(160G) after
the black microsoft loading screen (green bar), the computer almost
seems to turn off. The monitor seems to turn into a power saver mode and

I see a lot of threads for the above message but I haven't found a
resolution.  I can't believe editing the registry is the only way to
solve this issue--a Microsoft guy came up with that one and it didn't

What is "Msdia80.dll" doing in the root of my storage disks?19 Aug 2008 16:51 GMT-
I am running Vista x64 Ultimate & other apps on a 150GB WD Raptor.
Storage is taken care of by 2 x 1TB WD SATA2 drives in a RAID 0 setup.
I noticed that the file "msdia80.dll" is installed in the root of the
storage drives.
