Vista suddenly shutdowns after leaving a while and back to move mo27 Feb 2007 10:08 GMT1
Vista shows something wierd. I have change my background picture and leaving
computer idle for a while. After I come back and move the mouse the computer
suddenly shutdowns. Another one I have found is that the BIOS display new CPU
installed!!

i recently upgraded my XP MC to Vista Ultimate and have come across various
issues. ( prior to this, i had a Vista Beta running separately on a partition
and did not get the errors ).

In vista, I've spent hours trying to figure out how to clear the
'Recently Changed' folder. Even after clearing it, the files that I
deleted kept coming back would you believe. They are stuck there
permanently it seems. I'm at the point now where I want xp back. Does

I never have gotten XP to run as a dual boot. I have Vista running OK. I
have XP cloned onto a separate hard drive in its own partition and it shows
up in the boot sequence ( I used VistaBoot Pro) after restart but it always
says it cannot find this file or that one.

Does anyone know how to customize the toolbars in Vista Home Premium.  You
could add and remove buttons in XP but I can't figure out how to do the same
in Vista.

Installed Vista this weekend and I love it.  It's so much faster than XP on
the same computer, taking advantage of all the processing speed of my Pentium
Duo Core.  I love how the windows are somewhat transparent so you can see
what's behind them, which gives the desktop a kind ...

I have windows VISTA on this computer.  I have a http address to access my
company email.  IE7 lets me log in, however, I cannot REPLY to senders.  It
does allow me to open emails, view, and open attachements.
When I had windows XP, I was able to access without any problems.

Nero 7 wont accept its own serial number, only in Vista27 Feb 2007 07:45 GMT7
Any boffins out there who might know what it is in Vista that prevents me
from installing Nero 7.7.5.1 because it keeps saying that the serial number
is invalid.  I have tried every which way, used their "Clean Tool", cleaned
out the registry of anything "Ahead" or "Nero" and it ...
