I just bought a Dell laptop, xps m1210 with vista ultimate. It works fine
everying except the firefox, which I prefer to use. I contacted Dell but they
have no solutions at present either.

Man you guys are just the best really. Build and OS and 70% of the software
won't run, crash all over the place. Funny, even your own apps don't work

(the email was embedded and contained the specifics) all you had to do was
change the date, time, recurrence etc.  It was a very convenient way to

I have just received my copy of vista x 64 bit home premium. Is it worth
upgrading yet? Are there enough drivers for x 64 bit use? Do I do an upgrade
install over my 32 bit version or a clean install?

I am running a clean install of Vista (Home premium OEM) and am unable
to play any of my mp3's in windows media player 11 or windows media

There it is the problem.  Drag an mp3 into wmp.  Now CPU up to 75%.  No
volume but progress is moving.  Same in winamp - no problem.  My app - no
problem.

so i deleted the 10G recovery partition, shrunk c, so i could have a logical
drive for documents.
i did this in vista, since i found no partition software that workes.
problem, im noy able to merge the 2 unallocated spaces to 1 partition.

I have Desktop Weather installed and it works as it should.....except Windows
Defender will not allow it to open at bootup.  Of course Windows Defender
give me the option to open the program.
