VISTA Complete Backup - FAILURE - 0x8078006B24 Feb 2007 19:16 GMT3
I have a 60gb WD USB 2.0 drive attached to new latop.  Went to make a
"Windows Comple PC Backup and Restore" image.  Selected said drive.  Main
Drive on laptop is 90 gb.  Starts the backup, receives this error:
"Failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.

so you have used an upgrade disc from XP to Vista Home Basic. Is there any
way you can then go into the add/remove panel of Vista and uninstall to go
back to XP like they did with some other earlier widows systems?
I am guessing the answer is no.

Some routers that have stateful packet inspection have an issue with Vista,
Vista is taking five minutes or more to acquire the routers IP address.
Apparently it is caused by SPI in the router and the suggested fix is to
disable SPI. That's if your router allows you to disable SPI. ...

Year to date I think I've told more people about the release of Vista than
Microsoft has and I'm sure you can say the same if you've heard the same
response I have had when talking to people about the release, "What is Vista?"
Even in 2000, those who weren't as computer savvy knew ...

widescreen format.  Windows Vista DVD burner burned it to full screen format.
Is there an "Options" menu item I'm missing or an add-on that's available to

If i try to cut and paste, Windows explorer crashes.  It doesn't matter if I
am doing this from one window to another or if I cut, then navigate to where
i want to paste the file, then paster it...any ideas?
