Can anyone help with my problem? My system is a P4 3.06GHz, 1Ghz RAM, Nvidia FX5200 and Auzentech X-Mystique. DVD burner/player is Pioneer DVR-111. Vista Home Premium .All drivers and Codecs have been updated.

I have XP in my computer. I don't know if I ever need another OS. Does anyone can tell me honestly what are so greate about Vista over XP? I know nothing about Vista.

I thought maybe M$ got this option right this time around. All my restore points has stopped working. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I know defragging your HDD will mess up the restore points but I haven't

I am not techy im afraid but I have received an "important" update message from MS suggesting I download this Service Pack. The thing is I have got a new latop that is running Vista and am unsure why this has been brought to my attention.

Under network place, I can connect to other pcs or network devices using their ips. However, I cannot see their names. Can someone advise how to show their names instead as it is easier to identify themselves. Thanks,

Ok call me a traditionalist but I prefer my folders on top, the individual files/programs listed below them. So when I go into Start > All Programs > I would like to see my folders listed in Alpha Sort order with the letter

i use a share point server page, i can't open a document directly from the page (open with a click at the link). I can open files with UNC path. Same with the Projectserver - the controls who shows the timeptable shows nothing. It seams like a endles loop

I'll admit vista is a bit better than it was while in beta form but I can't believe they released it - I think the box should have a big label that says "AS IS" or let the buyer beware. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but some of the issues are SO major,
