Is there any easy way to capture a screenshot in the new media player? I remember on the previous one all you had to do was simply press ctrl+(i forgot the key). I don't believe that technique works for the new media player. Is there a key or command to snap a shot? Thanks.

I've been working on trying to get ReadyBoost working on my Vista 64 system for a week or so now. It's a strange problem, I haven't seen others mentioning it, so thought I'd post to see if anyone has an idea.

I updated drivers for my hard discs and chipset (Intel Matrix Storage Manager, Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility, downloaded from Dell), and Vista now requires a new product key when I try to activate again. I do not want to pay more money to Microsoft, just for updating ...

Is there a way to get icon to stay where you want them on the Vista desktop? I had a nice little utility called "Icon Layout" for Windows XP and it worked like a charm. I gave it a try with Vista but no luck there.

It seems that when I run the new Resource Monitor that my system soon becomes totally unresponsive. I've even had to power off just to get it back working. Is anyone else seeing something like this?

I have a couple of questions. I did a clean install of Vista Ultimate, 64 bit. I running into problems with the different players that my school uses for online courses; an error to the effect that they're not compatible with this version of windows (64 bit configuration).

I ran the windows vista advisor and other than a couple of issues with software no other problems were found, but after upgrading to vista home basic the dvd reader and dvd writer are both gone. I have an HP computer with a AMD 3500 and 1 GB Memory. Is this a driver problem??
