how do I stop the on screen keyboard from appearing when os boots to desktop?

Has anyone noticed that Vista's backup is rather slow?  I tried
backing up an admittedly large (several hundred gigs) of data to a
second  hard drive and it took over 24 hours.  I later tried the same
backup to a network drive and it looked like it would take several

In windows XP ,when you burned to CD ,XP always put the temp files on the
drive so you could look at them and edit them. In Vista it burns them

I have a 1GB USB 2.0 flash drive plugged in and ReadyBoost is using
about 1GB of it - however I can not say that I see any performance

Issue: Can't access XP Home files from Vista (home premium) machine
XP laptop wireless conection to Netgear WPN824 v.2 Router.
Vista desktop ether connection to same router.
I can access files on the PC from the laptop.

I have just installed Photoshop CS on Vista Ultimate x64
The program opens, but stalls whilst loading plugins etc and says the
program cannot be opened as the file is locked.

Hi, I have an issue with Vista HP 64 bit. When I am running bit torrent
software such as uTorrent or Azureus I will allways get a dht failier and
after between 10-15 hours, I will lose internet connectivity. Torrents
