Hope someone can help..... I would like to convert my external firewire
drives from fat32 to ntfs.  I tried the convert command that works in xp
but it's not working in vista.  Is there a built in utility in Vista to
convert fat32 drives to ntfs?

How do you set a program as default if it isn't listed in the default
programs list?

Programs that stop working are a fact of life. Ever since XP came out
applications are suppose to run in their own "protected" memory space
so if they crash, they don't take down the whole system with them.
Operative word, that's how it USED TO BE.

Hi, I'm using the Swedish MSDN release of Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit but
the Ultimate Extras are not showing up. It is fully activated and I get
access to other "ultimate extras" such as all the language packs. How come
the "true" Ultimate Extras are not showing up?

spending a few days with it I find I much prefer XP. Is it possible for me to
downgrade from Vista to XP for FREE?

I've tried watching dvr-ms files recorded on Vista on an XP machine with WMP

When I press the standyby button on my computer, it switches off
great.  When I turn it back on it comes back where I left it.  I guess
this is good because this is how it is meant to work.

Why can't I get one complete download with Vista? The process stops after a
few minutes and does not proceed. There is no provision for recovery.
I  have not been able to download a single program so far.

While previously using Windows XP and now that I am using Windows Vista,
whenever I right-click in some text fields, I am presented with "Open IME"
and about three Unicode options, which I do not need, as I only need cut,
copy, etc.

I just shrinked about 12 GB as drive K from drive C and would like to give
it to drive D.  Drive K is logical partition and D is primary partition.
How can I merge them together?  Your advice is appreciated.
