Yep, that's right.  Vista is njot even compatible with media player.
When trying to look at a video contained in a browser window (such as
with CNN.com) it simply sayes Media Player is not installed and wants to
know if I would like to download it.

I would like to solicit your input about User Account Control ("UAC") in
Windows Vista as part of your daily work. Kindly consider the following:
