I wonder if someone else who uses a usb thumbdrive for ready boost could tell me if their ReadyBoost drive uses FAT32? All my other drives are NTFS file system and I just wondered if my ReadyBoost drive is set up wrong? xiowan...........in tucson

In XP, if you clicked on a blank area of desktop (desktop visible under open Windows), the Desktop was bought to the fore. In Vista this doesnt appear to happen. I click on the desktop, but the open Windows remain on top -ie, nothing happens. I have to click on the desktop

Sent one of my two 1GB DIMMs back to the manufacturer this week, Windows says I need to reactivate due to hardware changes. The problem is, I have already installed Vista 3 times on this system because of poor NVIDIA drivers so I think I have no reactivations left.

I am trying to get support from MS but my Vista Product ID is not being reconised as valid by the online form. I cannot go any further with the submmision with this ID being reconised. I have re-entered the code serveral times.

I am attempting to track down this recurring error ... I receive a Host Process DEP error, noted whenever I resume from sleep. Here is the data from the Event log. Can anyone help me understand what is happening and how to prevent the error? Thanks!

Not to piss anyone off :P, but I just heard someone saying that Vista is doing pretty bad, it's very hard to make it compatible with this and that, and manufacturers are thinking of reverting back to XP... Is that pure B.S. or is there a grain of truth in it? I know XP will not
