I have this customer with an Acer notebook and Windows Live Messenger
doesn't connects and gives an error message. Do I have to play with the
Windows Vista' Firewall settings or should I advice to install another

Can Adobe fonts which I purchased and used in Win XP be installed in Vista?

Does anyone know where I can find out if my current software is compatible
with Windows Vista?  (Microsoft Office 2003, ACT!2006, etc.)  If it's not, do
I have to purchase all new software or is there an upgrade that I can
download??

I have been using 2 chat rooms for years and could always type and see emots
using Java.  Now, even tho I have the latest version of Java on Vista, when I
enter the rooms I can see the emots for a few seconds then they disappear,
and all I can see are the letters, such as :D  ...

Media Player in Vista shows the video very slowly if run in full screen. It
runs ok if it is in a window. I have been using the same videos on XP and
were running fine in full screen

I have owned my new windows vista operating system for a few months.
I have recently recieved some e-mail with a attachment. This attachment
is a .doc file extension. My computer will not open the file. What can I do
to solve this problem?

We currently have customers using windows XP but they will shortly be
upgrading or buying new PC's with Windows Vista, we currently program using
SQL Server and Visual Basic we have been told that it will not work with
Vista does anyone know if this is true?

MS Money won't let me in, keeps saying Wrong Password!! I even tried changing
the password and it still won't work. The new password let me in here just

hi, I have used tweak UI to remove the arrow from my desktop icons, and it
worked. Could anybody tell me how to remove the text from below the icons on
my desktop. Thanks
