When I log onto a network share (NAS) that has password protected sub-folders I must enter a username and password and then click OK. For some reason I have to always click the OK button twice. The first time entry is refused.

There are programs on my drive which I cannot update, repair, delete, etc because I do not have 'administrator or power user authority'. I have turned off uac, I do have administrator authority as the only profile on the computer. If no one can come up with a fix, then what is ...

I've been unable to get rid of that list in each folder in Windows Vista with stuff like Pictures, Music, etc. I see how the "Explorer"-like list can be displayed or hidden, but the list above it with Music etc. always remains. Does MS give the user no choice about this?

I been getting BSOD's and it is only visible for about a 1/2 second. I am hoping that this file will show me what they are but it won't let me see it says access denied when I try to open it with Notepad. Is there a way to view this file or see the BSOD Files? Have a good day,

Folder views dont stick and keep changing random types of view, anyone else experiencing this or know how tae fix. Its a bit like the good old days of XP. Reset Views in Folder Options works, but only for a short time
