I've scheduled disk defragmenter to run on a weekly basis. The task begins,
but goes to a queued status with the message "task triggered on scheduler"
and doesn't run. I've seen other references to defrag scheduling problems for
XP, but not Vista. How can I get this thing to run?

I have Vista Home Premium and have just started using Windows Media Centre.
If I set it to record programs via my TV tuner card does the Windows Media
Centre interface have to be running for these recording to happen or will it
work in the background?

I have succesfully upgraded to Vista Premium, and I couldn't be happier. I
have transferred the important files from Windows.old (thank you, whoever
thought of that) and would now like to know; when is it safe to delete

When I shut down Vista, there are a handful of options on how that
should go. At the very bottom is turn completely off. Is there a way
of making that the default?

I have the same problem missing Administrative Tool i Control Panel.
I checked and I do have the link file. But I still don't see in Control Panel.

I am running Vista Home Premium 32-bit.  When I try to open the device
manager, I get an error message that says "Class Not Registered".  When I
click OK, the error message closes and nothing else happens.  What can I do

well i have some problem saving Ip in my hosts (its for a game) but it wont
save the ip adress it says it cant  it says (translated form swedish so ma be
some wrong )
