When I try to shut down windows, the first time i try, it says that the task
scheduler is still running. I have to tell it to "shut down now" or hit
cancel then shut down again for it to work. How do i get the task scheduler
to stop interrupting the shut down sequence?

I've recently tried to install grand theft auto: vice city on my new vista
computer. however it did not work. the process gauge loads until 50% quite
quickly, however once the gauge becomes half full it just stops for a long
period of time and i get a component transfer error.

I like vista's new startmenu all except for the pin to startmenu option. What
i'm trying to find is a way for when you click on the startmenu button all
your programs are shown (instead of it showing your pinup programs and then
having to click the all programs button underneath) ...

I had installed a program and have since uninstalled it.  The shortcut on my
desktop will not let me delete it.  How could I get rid of it?  All other
files related to that program have been removed.

I hope someone can help me sort this out.  I use Money 2006.  When I was
using Windows XP I had no problem backing up my Money file to a CD-RW using
Roxio's Drag-to-Disc.  Now, with Vista I have to delete the file that's
already on the disc, or rename the one I'm trying to put on ...

Ok, XP pro, I can run the 'use 2nd monitor as an extended desktop' thing.
I got a 1080P dell monitor, and a 1080P hdtv.  it detects my TV's name ok,
but it will only let me to up to like 1680x1050.  both nvidia, and MS's
options don't appear to allow me to set the 2nd device up ...

When using Explorer with Windows VIsta I cannoty send e-mails using Outlook
Webaccess (my law school's web-based e-mail program.) I have installed the
MIME which allowed me to type in the message field, but when I click "send"
Explorer shuts down and the e-mails are not sent.

I have just installed, vista 64-bit and am loving it at the minute.
I only have a few small niggles.  I have installed 2 programs that I used to
use in Windows XP: imgBurn & Norton Antivirus (installed internet security
2007 with vista 64 upgrade).

I have not dual booted into Vista for two weeks.
Vista still cannot maintain a connection to any internet streaming media
source for more than a few minutes, regardless of source/format/codec. The
