Hey does anyone have any idea if I should update nero 7 essentials because
it was compatible with XP but now on vista it asks for me to update the
latest version? I have a 56k modem and the new nero is 170Mb. Does anyone
have advice?

have been trying to download Adobe Reader 8.1.  after each download,
installation has to be aborted as a result of Error 1406  which states
'Could not write value Installed to key

I am having problems with changing system sounds and hearing them.  the
windows vista sound plays on start up but I can't seem to get any others
working. Testing them doest work either (no sound plays) p.s  I get no error
messages. would be glad for anyone to give me a tip.

I just got a laptop with the Intel Core Duo Processor T5250.
According to Intel, the T5250 is a 64 bit processor.  The version of
Vista it came with is Home Premium.
