I upgrade my Vista RAM from 2 gigs to 4 gigs and the WEI that was 4,5 now is
4,1. How is this possible?

Has the Windows Live ID sign-in been repaired yet? I tried a couple of days
ago and it still said Windows Mail was unable to sign in to Windows Live ID.

having a problem with vista, on a new hp notebook.   whenever the system
boots up to the user-selection screen, the system will wait about 30 seconds
for me to select a user and login with password.   if no user is selected
within the 30 seconds, however, the system reboots ...

Just need clarification - I am the only user of my computer. As
administrator, I have setup a password.  Should I now set up a second
account that I can use for just casual surfing etc? (Hope I made myself

WMP 11 does not recognize mp3 players, SD-crads, UBS-drives. They do not show
up in the devices screen of WMP.
So it is impossible to synchronize files to them.
How can I manually add devices to WMP 11?

I can't find drivers for it at home site,and Vista don't like the XP

my computer was fully activated yesterday. Then today i checked my system and
it says i need to reactivate windows within 3 days. i click activate now and
it says the key is already in use. what happened?

In trying to use subject to move files from a PC running XP to a laptop
running Vista I get the error message:
There was an error scanning the data on your system windows easy transfer
will now be cancelled.

In XP there was a little ? mark button next to the X button on the top right.
It would give you help just for that window.  In Vista I do not see any of
the ? buttons.  Is there a hotkey for the current window help?

    I'm new here.  How do I disable startup items.  They don't show up in
Start/All Programs/Startup.
