I ran the sfc /scannow command because I was having some problems getting
programs to run and got this message..
verification 100% complete Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bits installed on my computer. Along with
installing this, I also installed tons of drivers etc. however I do not need
all of them at the start of every boot. So I wanted to delete them from the

Does Windows Vista not have the ability to do be logged on as I could opt to
do under Xp? I would press Ctrl, Alt & Del twice and a logon screen would

Since a clean install of Vista my audio drivers took a walk (Realtek
ALC-880) Originally upgraded from XP Pro & worked fine. Tried the Mobo site
drivers (original) no-go, went to the Mfg. driver site  and still no-go.

I wrote a program in Visual Basic. It uses the odbcjt32.dll version
4.0.6304.0. If I try to install this program in Vista 64bit it has a
problem with this file refusing to replace the one already installed.
The installed version is 6.0.6001.18000. I believe the file has

I intended to take advantage of the free System Mechanic 6.  When I go to
install it a warning window appears saying that there are compatibility
issues with my system.  I am running Vista Home Premium SP1 32 bit.  Has
anyone had experience with installing this program in Vista ...
