I have the "remember each folder's view setting" in "folder and search
options" ticked, however, I have repeatedly found that some folders'
view settings are not saved or messed up once or two in a while. So I
had to redo the view setting by selecting list, medium icon, etc.

I am trying to open a disk that was given to me that contains pictures
on it.
When I check the disk's properties, it shows that 1/2 of the disk has
information on it.

I found a nameless hidden blank file in my user directory the other
day. It has no size, no name, no nothing. It can't be given a name,
can't be moved, deleted, changed or opened. I only see it in Windows
Explorer, not in a command shell and not in other file managers like
