There have been many posts about backup problems in Vista. I too was having
problems. I kept researching for answers and maybe the following will help
someone else with their problem.
I counld not get the backup to work properly. I kept getting BACKUP FAILED

I notice that the keyboard response in Office 2007 is lagging.  It is
fine in other applications.
This is brand new build.  32bit Vista Ultimate with all the updates
installed.  Latest drivers, latest bios also installed

i installed diectshow but it said not compatiable with your system.
how do i delete it and recover the space it takes?thanks ron--

Does anyone know of a small free program that will enable one to move a
Quick Launch link icon bar to the top of the Windows Vista screen? I
currently have a Quick Launch like dialog box docked up there but the box
edges are far too wide and it won't let me drag and drop the icons ...

Very few are Vista compatible, so if you own one and go Vista, plan on a new
scanner (Epson is always behind and expects you to buy new.

Can someone help me to activate the Active X controls. Some videos won't
play because it says that the Active X controls are turned off.

it was working fine when i had windows XP but since upgrading to Vista (old
lappy died on me), the FrontPage kept shutting down when i was trying to make
changes to my web page (like changing hyper links), and it restarted my
FrontPage automatically.

When I try and print a web page, all I get is several pages of code that
mean nothing to me.... any suggestions?

When I run chkdsk on start up I get an error after 5 of 5 tests done sayin
roughly,"insufficient space to fix the attribute definition table."
