I use an external monitor with my laptop for a dual monitor extended desktop.
I want the external monitor to be the primary.  This is easily setup via my
video driver software, windows display settings, or third party SW like
UltrMon.  The problem is at logon Windows Vista ...

All of a sudden I'm having a problem with Control Panel.  When I try
to launch it, I see the outline of a window appear for a split second,
and then it disappears, and nothing happens.
Did a google search and apparently a lot of people are seeing this

Vista with SP1.  There are 4 or 5 clocks that you are able to sync with
but I keep getting an error on each of them.  Anybody else have problems
with syncing up their clocks?

When I open the box to add/remove gadgets, the gadgets appears then quickly
disappear, leaving me with a blank gadgets box.  They are playing the
disappearing tease.

Hello, is there any way I change the settings in IE7, whenever it opens a
new window, it is not maximized to the full screen size. I would ideally
prefer all new windows to open as tabs in my current browser, and not as new
pop up windows. Any help greatly appreciated!

Disk Cleanup and Defrag.  Scheduling (Vista)
When I schedule Disk Cleanup, a default schedule says cleanup will be
activated when I am logged on.
There is another option that says cleanup can be activated when I am logged

can i sownload ms office 97 to my windows vista it came with works and i can
not do alot of the same functions

When I try to search by clicking "intro" in the start menu, or using F3 or
ctrl+F or winlogo+F I receive an error message that says the archive is not
asociated with any action. It was working perfectly last week....
How can I restore it?

I have SP1 installed, but still see the problem with Control Panel and
Chess Titans not starting.

My daughter has forgotten her password for her laptop.  She has Windows Vista.
When you turn on her laptop it comes up asking for a password straight away,
this is the one that she's forgotten.
I thought that I could make a reset password disc from a friends computer
