Am I getting blind, or is MIDI functionality simply removed?

HP IP Console switch (kvm) - remote management doesn't install20 May 2008 02:33 GMT2
Let me say up front that this is NOT a Vista problem - it is a problem
with the installer (and perhaps the program) itself.  I am only posting
here in the hopes (slim as they might be) that some other poor admin has
run into this problem and figured out a solution.
