could any body help me when  i come to uninstal a program on vista premuim.
It comes up saying program unistalled but when i go back into the program
screen it`s still there,is there a way i can get rid of it completely.

I'm getting a slew of these errors in the log. No problems with the
computer's operations. I'm guessing that the data Vista compares to is

I'm currently using mac os x and using bootcamp to run windows natively
and also run windows using vmware fusion to run VISTA in a virtual machine.
The problem is that although vista runs fine in bootcamp
it asks to authenticate it in vmware mode and if i try it says key is in use.

Anyone have any experience with the Vista compatible version of Norton's?

Does anyone know how to import the address book from WinMail into
Thunderbird email client.  It allows for Outlook Express but no mention of
WinMail in the import window.  Maybe its not possible!
Any advice would be gratefully received.

I run 2 machines Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista Home Premium. I have
been using Outlook 2000 for years in the XP machine. I am unable to
install Outlook 2000 onto the Vista machine.
Is there a way to do it?

I have two computers running Vista Home Premium. When Service Pack 1 came
out, my desktop, which is a clone I built myself, downloaded and installed
Service Pack 1 without any problem, but my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop seems
oblivious to Service Pack 1's existence. Although ...

I'm currently running Windows Vista, and every so often (it seems to be
randomly) all the windows start flashing, the taskbar moves around, and the
screen blinks.  Everything is fixed when I restart explorer.exe, but this
problem keeps happening again and it's really annoying.

I have just installed Windows Vista Ultimate x64 on a intel quad CPU 8GB ram
with 500GB Sata. When i try and copy 40GB of files from my old pc over the
network after about 1 minute of copying the PC dumps and produces
IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO_ZERO error.

When I transfer a file to my external hard drive the file only moves at
10-12MB/s I thought they were supposed to have higher transfer speeds than
that/ 13GB file takes 30 minutes? My internet speed is almost as fast.
What can I do to improve it?

How can you ensure your Fonts in all of the vista operating system doesn't
change? i turned on the computer a couple of days ago and the fonts on all
screens and every option( msn email, MSN explorer, Word, the icons, etc) was
super small!  i touched nothing nor made any changes, ...

I continue to get the following message "Windows Media Center Receiver
Service has stopped working" and is tied to ehRecvr.exe.  I've tried multiple
solutions to no avail.  Does anyone have any potential solution based on the
problem signature that I receive?
