My wife is having troubles with her Windows Vista on her laptop. It keeps rebooting right after having loaded all the desktop items (all icons and so on) withou any error messages. Yesterday my wife clicked to shut down Windows and then closed the laptop.

I have windows Vista Premium and everytime I open or try to use Windows Defender, I get an error message, application failed to intialize, handle is invalied, then gives me error code, 0x800700006. Can anyone help me with this problem?? I would really aperciate it.

I have been using a Trust 7 Port USB Hub with Vista SP1, using the built in Vista driver, without issue. However, Vista has suddenly started to report this has 'USB Device Not Recognized'. The hub works with XP and other USB devices work fine

Just recently, I noticed that Media Player is not able to replay automatically any mpeg file. The first time the mpeg file plays, everything is ok. The second time the mpeg plays, the video is garbled. If I changed performance parameters, the file will play fine one more time.
