This is my fourth time asking this question. Sometimes, when my computer goes
to sleep, the hard drive will wake up, but not the monitor. Also, sometimes
the monitor will go into sleep mode in the middle of being active. I

Someone told me that 64 bit is 32 bits faster than 32 bit.  So if I install
Vista 64 bit it will go 32 bits faster than 32 bit.  Do I need to go that

I am trying to fix a friend's laptop.  It had been in constant use for
months with it only being hibernated.  She then shut it down and went
to boot it a couple of weeks later and it failed to boot.  Trying to
run a normal boot it gets as far as the "Please wait" message just
