Disabling SYmantec Antivirus on my system also disabled Network! Weird. I found a workaround, too lon gto epxlain, but there's just another reason your network might not recognized the World, even though enabled.

I have my desktop set to display "Classic icons" yet they occasionally get even smaller all by themselves! I can refresh my desktop and they pop right back to Classic size but what am I doing that's making them get smaller to begin with??

Fully patched Vista - I can reproduce every time. When I attempt to move files by dragging from one folder to the next within Explorer, it crashes. Anyone else seen this?

So far googling has suggested I create an Administrator account which I did and then delete it but it still says it's in use by another program and won't delete. Also tried booting in safe mode as administraor but still can't delete the folder (1.3Gb)

I used to have a Calendar Gadget displaying on my Vista Home Premium Sidebar. Someone in my house decided to remove it by opening the box that shows the Gadget Gallery, right clicked on the calendar, then clicked Uninstall.
