Attempting to install Vista on a reapired computer and Vista CD is not
booting.  BIOS says there is a SATA drive there.

I have a non-functional floppy/card reader in my Vista 64bit PC that was
installed by the vendor.  It was defective out of the box  The vendor sent
me an external one as a replacement that I never installed to date - having
no need.

Hi All, Stupid me, I accidentally was trying to fix something with the
COM Surrogate Error, (the normal way didn't work, adding it into
exceptions) and I seem to have deleted the DLLHost.Exe file.  I used the
"Unlocker" program, so it completely removed the file, it didn't go to

Receiving 80070570 error when attemting to write to RAID 5 array. Worked fine
for about 30 days, then constant 80070570 when attempting a write.
Array is SansDigital TRM5 with five 1Gb WD drives, using a Sil 3132 eSata

I have vista running okay except all my original zip files.  The icon
has changed to a windows media centre icon, hence not allowing me to
extract from my zips.  Even if I make a new zip folder the icon problem
is the same.

Hi, I am running Vista Home Premium and my defrag tool will not defrag
all of the fragmented files. It looks to be system volume files and also
cache files. I try to open these files but access is denied. Should I
worry about this or have I got a setting wrong? Please help
