Windows Updates After System Restore13 Jun 2009 13:43 GMT5
I did a Windows Update for 12 Important and Recommended Updates on 6/1/2009.
Ten days later I had to do a System Restore to a date before those updates.
What is the status of those 12 updates? Are they still there? Do I have to
install them again? If so, how do I do that?
Why Is It?13 Jun 2009 13:04 GMT20
I was lurking at the Windows Vista Spanish newsgroup and I noticed that
everyone there is being very civilized, educated and polite. This group,
OTOH, is a cesspool. It must be the influence of the posters like Frank
and the Nymshifter who hail from the USA.

STOP mentioning UBUNTU13 Jun 2009 05:20 GMT5
Frank the Monkey, Suck-a-Bus, and another Vista boyfriend:
FYI, best Linux for busienss is not Ubuntu, you're tareting an inferior
flavor of Linux and then generalize your assumption over all Linux families.
1. MS admits Linux is a threat.  A bad OS is not treated as threat unless

In other words if you Bing for girls, you can click on 'Videos only"

Anyone having this problem?  Windows Explorer has stopped working and then

I have been searching these forums since I installed Vista, and now that SP1
hasn't solved the issue, I am back to ask once again if anyone knows what to

IE8 and Windows Vista SP212 Jun 2009 22:46 GMT5
I have been holding off on installing IE8 and today the Windows Vista SP2
appeared in my Windows Update folder.  I hid both files.   I am thinking
that I probably need to install IE8 before SP2.  Am I correct?

Internet Explorer 8 in Vista causes Windows Explorer issues12 Jun 2009 22:34 GMT14
I wasn't quite sure if IE8 was the culprit, but it became apparent once
I removed it.
Internet Explorer 8 interferes with the functionality in Windows
Explorer for Vista.
