Just started using Vista.  Is there no way to get a volume control icon
in the tray for easy access to the voulme controls?

No UPS service in service MMC.
Microsoft remove UPS management from vista?

I received a DVD with 1 xml file and several cgm files. How do I manage
to display the content of the xml instead of the xml-code? I'm running
under Vista with IE8.

I just installed today's Vista updates and later noticed all my restore
points prior to the update are gone.
Is this everyone's experience, or did I do something to accidently delete
them?

I've just instaled SP2 for Vista on a clean install and it constantly
keep rebooting, it won't get to the login screen.
It's not even booting into Safe Mode.
So far the boot goes as far as "Configuring Updates: State 3 of 3

How can i recover and import my messages and contacts from Windows XP using
Outlook Express (or Office Outlook 2007) to Windows Mail included with Vista
32bit ?
Using  File > Import > Messages or Contacts is refused !

There are 17 new update for Windows.  I want to know if I can download the
updates and save them on a disk to install at a later date. I am using
Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit.

Client with a print screen problem
From an Vista 32 machine, local to Excel 2007 sp2 print screen work

A customer asked if he created the recovery disc would he still have a
complete working recovery partition. He is in fear of creating the disc then
losing them.

When I type the letter 'v' in the search box on the start menu, a
message box pops up saying Windows Explorer has encountered an error and
needs to close.  It then restarts and will then work fine.  It only
seems to do it when I type 'v'.

I am getting lonely at night and would like to cuddle up with either of Da
Swinehoonts.  I don't mind if it's Mr. Swinehoont or Mrs. Swinehoont.  I
swing both ways.

Is it poosible to make a partition permanently invisible & lock so that
if virus attacks or any other problem arrise  it doesn't effect that
partiton n i easily store my important office data...

1) TaskManager by Alt+Ctrl+Del does not start immediately as opposed to
WinXP.
Alt=Ctrl+Del first enters a BlueScreen menu and only then you can select
TaskManager from menu - an extra click over WinXP, what's the purpose of
