I'm running Vista Home Premium. I have the Vista defrag set to go
automatically on the first day of each month at 9 PM. The settings are
correct on screen. However, it says next scheduled defrag = never, and
the automatic defrag does not occur. I have to start it manually each ...

When I put my comp to sleep or have it set on power saving power
configuration so it goes to sleep, after a a minute or so of sleep it wakes
up.  I cant find what is causing this.  Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to customize and tweak around Vista gto make it look like WinXP.
Processing speed is now on par with XP if not faster.
As I said I can spend countless hours on computers and do it for a living,
so no problem with that.

On a fairly regular basis I get choppy audio.  This happens both when doing
streaming video or playing a musci file directly from my desktop hard drive.  
Other times I can play an entire movie without any problem.  Once the problem
happens the only way to fix it is to do a reboot ...

Well I must admit, SP1 was a huge disappointment but SP2 was what the doctor
ordered for my PC.
My 5+ year old XP system was 20 times faster at disk to disk copy and
network to disk copy than was my Vista.  Solaris and Linux were 30 times

I,ve upgraded my son's pc to vista home premium. Until here everything Ok.
The problem is that I can't start the pc in safe mode.
