programs that said programs. it has always been there I thought it was kind
of strange as it had repeats of what was in my start menu already. Well for

I know the new Windows Vista has parental controls that can record IM
conversatiosn, but if you don't have a downloaded IM service and are
using a web "chat" service to IM people, will it still reocrd that? Like
web messengers?

I've just finished a clean install of Vista but one of my drives
permissions are messed up.  I was able to add my account so I can
access all the files on the drive but just to be safe I would like to
restore the default permissions to that drive.

Installed Windows 7 RC 1 on a Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop.
Running with no problem so far.  Setting up my wireless on it was easy
compared to setting it up on XP.
Anyone else running it?  Opinions and comments would be appreciated.

The Gadget Side Bar keeps disappearing and I have to do it again.  I do not
have the autohide for it.  Anyone know what's going on with this.  I only
have the Weather and the Clock on my desktop.

I bought a wireless kit to present my desktop on a TV in another room of my
home. The parts all connected okay, and for a few random moments the
computer's desktop was displayed on the TV screen. Mostly, it keeps
