After fixing the Error-2147218141-problem by creating gathrprm.txt and schema.txt search results are displayed only as "empty" columns (no filename, icon for "unknown document type"). Any idea what went wrong?

My Vista Ultimate laptop's CPU temperature sits normally at around 45C but now whenever I run Windows Live Mail it will shoot up over 90C and then forcibly shut the machine down! No other program has this effect and in all other respects things are running normally.

Hi i`m running a windows vista o/s s/p 2. The brand of the board is asus p5l-mx. With a core 2 duo 1.8 proc, 2 gig or ram. Sata dvd rw, 80 gig h/d. I have noticed that when the system is on i put in a any c/d or dvd and when the dvd start spinning the pc restarts.
