Using Win XP to connect Wirelessly to an iPAQ02 Sep 2005 15:11 GMT1
I have a desktop PC running Windows XP and an iPAQ h4150 running Pocket
2003.
I've set-up a wireless network using Windows and it's working; I can see the
network on the desktop and the iPAQ, I'm getting 54mbps and the connection

Have loaded KB893357 on my XP SP2 laptop with a D-Link DWL-G650+ card (which
is WPA2 enterprise certified) but I have not got the option of WPA2 within
the wireless network settings and the registry entries from the KB article
are not present either. Is anyone aware of this ...

problems. My laptop also successfully connects until I move it to the far
end of the house at which point it is out of range.

i get "you do not have permission to use this resource and not enough server
space"  when trying to access my network places.  Networked printer works.

One of the really clever features in SP2 was the ability to setup a
wireless network device, like a consumer router, by plugging a USB
flash drive into your computer, running the setup app in the control
panel, then just plugging that USB key into the router.  Here's an

I just started grad school here in DC and the wireless network wasn't
compatible with my old wireless card.  At the school bookstore, I got the
only card they could guarantee would work and put it in my computer today.  
(It's an internal card.)  How do I install it?
