Two computers are residing under a workgroup. One is desktop and ther other is notebook.
PC is connected to router in a wired manner and notebook is connected to the network using wireless network.

Managed to connect pc and 2 Acer aspire laptops to router through ethernet
wires.  Tried to connect laptops wirelessly but both found network-good
strength but when I click on the internet explorer icon it comes up with

Want to use wireless networking yet there is no wireless connection icon in
my network connections.
Can anyone suggest why and how to create a wireless connection?
Or is this likely to be a hardware problem?

I am using windows XP, with a Linksys router
