I just took over a new network, with poor doc's explaining any setup procedures and network layout. I need to find a way to print the wep-key they use. Current OS is XP pro SP2 is some one has a script the calls to the RPCQuerryInterface or has another way please let me know.

So I finally figured out how to get my office desktop and laptop to see each other on a P2P (or so I think). I know that with a hard connection via router (tried yesterday at home), the two of them also can access one another (I synch my briefcase on one with the other's drive). ...

Similar installations, 3com 3crwe454g72. Same ssid, same wepkey, broadcast off. Ibm laptop's, some older, some new. Can log on to some AP's, but can't see the other, even if the configuration are the same. Have also upgraded everything.

I have a DSL modem (IP address 192.168.0.1) and a Linksys DI-524 wireless router. I am using ZoneAlarm Pro on my PC, Windows XP Pro. ZoneAlarm keeps detecting what seems to be the modem (192.168.0.1:53) pinging the computer's ports (192.168.10.100:nnnn where nnnn is anywhere ...

I have XP Pro installed on my PC (where I have the printer) and also on one of my Laptos. The other laptopp has XP Home Edition. I don't have a problem sharing the printer with the one with XP Pro but on the other laptop I'm unable to find the printer.

I don't have a clue and hope someone can help me. I recently bought a laptop which is all set up for wireless. I bought a wireless router for my desktop, and I get a very good signal from the router to the laptop for internet connections. So I know that part works.

Can I use Windows XP's file sharing feature to share files/printers when my desktop is wired to a wireless router - and my notebook (or laptop) has a wireless connection to the home network. (The desktop does not have a wireless card.)

Hey guys (and gals), I just recently recquired a Broadband Router with Wireless. My desktop and my laptop can connect via LAN, however, my laptop -- even though it says its connected -- cannot access the internet.
