how do i make it so i can only allow the computers i want acces to the router

I am having a hard time connecting to the internet on my laptop.  We
installed a router in the house so I could work from other areas but
everytime I try to access the explorer a box comes up with Welcome to MSN
explorer.  Can someone tell me what I need to do?  I'm not even sure ...

just rebuilt my pc and i cant get the wireless card to acceept or obtain the
ip from the router which acts as dhcp.  all was working until i did a fresh
in stall and my laptop is still working.  what i get in is address type
