how do I know if my laptop came with a wireless internet card?

PLEASE this is a long time issue which i have not yet resolved.
I have a PC desktop (Win 98 2nd ed) connected to a Dlink wireless router.
Also have a laptop (Win XP Home) in another part of the house, with a Dlink
wireless adapter.
