I have setup a wireless connection from a Laptop with a built-in
connection and a desktop with a F5D7000 card. Both systems use Windows
XP. I can only get 11Mbps, even with an "excellent" signal.

After having a cumbersome (but reliable) cable set up I moved to Wireless
Router/Wireless network card (Belkin F5D7230-4/F5D7000)( XPPro/XPHome)

How do i configgure my desk top to get my D-link router to work? The closest
i've come is to have the desktop tell me to "repair local area connection"
and to"renew my IP sdress" but whatever i try leaves me frustrated. Any help

I have tried to setup a wireless network at home between my desktop and
laptop. File, printer and ICS do not work at all! I can't seem to figure out
what is wrong. They connect ok but do not pass any sort of traffic at all.

Let me get right into the network topology to give you an idea of how my
