I run a household with about a dozen nodes including 4 on a wireless AP - all on staic IP addresses I just purchased a DELL laptop with XP Pro SP2 and I have no idea HOW to set the static IP address with the new wireless configuration.

When I scan for available networks on my wireless home network via a wireless router (multimedia modem) I see 3 networks and the names are all familiar to me because I named them. Only 1 is WEP protected the others are not.

Hi,I have DELL inspiron 6000 with Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 internal wireless installed. The wireless network connection icon shows that wireless network is connected. But IE can not browse any web page. I also have DSL and web browse works fine with DSL connection.
