I was following instructions to network my wife's XP Pro laptop and my W98SE desktop and have possibly created a big problem. I was told to make the Workgroup name on both computers the same and create a User on my computer with the same name & password as my wife's.

We currently have three computers (one Mac) all connected wirelessly to a wireless router/modem. All three of us can browse the internet etc, however we are unable to connect to each others computers. I assume the best way to do this would be as an infrastructure network ie.

Actually, I can't send or receive. I'm using a wireless router and a Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop with Windows 2000 and a Horizons wireless PCMCIA card. The network seems fine and the laptop shows an excellent connection. However, I can't send or receive or connect to the Internet.
