I am trying to set up a wireless network based on a router/modem with a
laptop and a desktop but am having problems connecting the two computers.
I've narrowed it down to the laptop where I am unable to ping it's IP
address.  The loopback tested OK.

Hi, as the above suggests i am starting out on the "Networking road" and i

I've recently added a dell B130 to my home network. It's connecting to

I connect to the internet through a 3 PC home wireless Network which
connects to a WPA protected router and then a cable modem. Recently I've had
an annoying problem on this one PC:
The network is always OK in that I can see and access the other computers

Trying to do some trouble shooting on my wireless connection, and have been
told to check what channel they are using.  I have tried all the obvious
places but no good.
The cards are a dlink 510 pci and 610 pcmcia.

In an environment made of a Windows Small Business Server 2003 and a few
workstations (XP SP2, fully patched) I do encounter a weird behavior on one

My wi-fi card is picking up my wireless network, however, it's not connecting
to the internet on my laptop. I am connected now using my LAN cord.
The problem started just today when I booted my laptop up for use.
Can anyone help?

Still trying to get this wireless network running.
I have had it working in the past but cant redo it.  I ran the network setup
wizard before in control panel.  One step says the wizard has found
disconnected hardware and my wireless card is listed on both machines.  To

As the admin I have a good connection to the network but my kids (limited)
get a really slow or no connection.  Using D-Link DWL-G510 PCI on XP machines
