Laptop shows 11mps wireless connection, yet cannot get on internet10 May 2006 18:54 GMT3
I just set up a Linksys router on my desktop and then set up my wireless
laptop.  My laptop is showing that I have a wireless connection and that it's
"excellent", yet when I click on Internet Explorer I get nothing.
I've tried just about everything and I don't know what else to ...

I just got the MN-620 wireless kit. I have followed the instructions during
install. But when I connect the DSL router to the wireless base station then
back to the cpu I cannot connect to the internet anymore.
No firewalls are on

I am connected to an ad-hoc network to access internet, it works fine but
every 5 mintues it disconnects and connects again.
How can I solve this problem?

I uninstalled a Engenius usb wifi adapter usb drivers on a win98SE box,
because I am switching to a wired network.
The problem is I still see now in my firewall that there are listening
open ports coming from application "SYSTEM" for ports 137-139 with an

I have formated my computer a few weeks back, and i am having probs with my

I have a setup with 7 PCs on a wireless network - talking to a netgear
WPN824 (MIMO) acting as an access point only. Each PC has a WPN111
USB2 wireless adapter - they have no PCI expansion ability.
A few of the PCs are slow, and one drops off the network all the time.

I'm trying to get file/printer sharing setup on 2 computers.  The newer one

I have just installed a linksys Router/Gateway and i continue to get
difficulty with an upstairs connection from the USB Linksys Network Adapter
that was bought with the linksys Router.
