I have "installed" all the hardware/software that came with my Wireless Router and for the PCI card for my laptop. Both have a good connection to the internet. Now what? I want to share files and printers (and of course the internet).

When my computer starts and windows (xp) loads, a little window pops up by my system tray icon that says "wireless network connection is now connected." It stays there until I manually close it. Not life threatening, but really annoying. Any way to turn this off?

anyone else have this? I have a desktop PC that has a Belkin F5D7000 PCI card in it, and sometimes hardware interrupts & deferred procedure calls will start consuming every bit of CPU, & it'll stay spiked at 100%. I know

I saw a previous posting on this, but wanted some clarification. Does WZC consume the SSIDL IE if the driver passes it up through OID_802_11_BSSID_LIST, or does the driver need to break apart the SSID list in the IE into separate NDIS_WLAN_BSSID_EX entries?

I have a Powerbook Mac with which I can create a Wireless network (airport) and share my broadband internet with my desktop PC. The opposite is not true when I tried to set up a wireless network on my PC and have it shared wirelessly with my Mac.
