I have just purchased and set up a Belkin wireless router to my desktop PC. My laptop is Wifi enabled. After setting it all up, I tested my laptop which connected to the internet with no problems.

Call me lazy if you like but can anyone tell me if the standard Toshiba Wireless card in this aged laptop is WPA2 compatible? If not, is it updateable and how/from where? thanks

i have a wifi enabled notebook which is connected to the internet via a LAN broadband connection. is it possible to set up an access point using the laptops wifi card and the internet connection.

I am setting up my desktop to share its internet connection over a wireless network. When I run the wizard all goes well, it sets the connection to shared but at the end says an error has occurred and cancels the shared status of the connection.

I have never tried wireless before, and on my new laptop I tried it and it signed right on and let me start browsing... My question is, is this going to cost me? I haven't filled out anything, I just clicked connect (to linksys) and it worked??? Please help...

I recently purchased a new acer aspire 5672 WLMi When I attempt to connect to our wireless network, it gets stuck trying to assign an ip address. It does connect to the network, but there is not any internet connectivity.
