ad hoc - internet connection sharing11 Sep 2006 07:27 GMT4
I have two laptop computers with wireless adapters, laptop1 is connected to
the internet through a USB modem and laptop2 is connected to laptop1 on an
"ad hoc" wireless network.
Everything looks in order but I cannot access the internet on laptop2, only

Does anyone know how to get the wireless driver to load on Windows boot
vs user logon? I am trying to remote desktop to a WiFi PC but can not
connect if I am not logged onto it first because the PC does not show
up on the LAN until you logon to a user. This defeats the whole point.

When I try to connect to the computer connected by the wire from a wireless
computer, it doesn't let me in. When I go into my network places and click on
show workgroup computers, nothing appears. Not even the computer I'm on. The

(tablet PC)application. One of the requirement is to show

I have a very simply plain-vanilla DSL set up at home.  The DSL modem
plugs into the WAN socket of my wireless router and one of the 4 open
