We have a wireless G router that we use with our laptop.  It shows that it is
connected with full strength but we have no internet connection.  When we
send a ping all the IP address info comes up??  Help!

Hi all. I have an issue which I'm finding impossible to resolve. My onboard
wireless adapter does not show the options to allow me to choose WPA-PSK
encryption. It's not actually there. I believe it should be, but I think
there could be something wrong with my XP installation ...

I just reinstalled Windows on an older laptop.  It has an external Wireless
card I purchased last fall.  This problem only happened since I reinstalled
Windows.
When I boot the computer, the wireless card connects to my wireless network,

I've been using the same wireless set up in my house for quite some time.  
Twice in the past few weeks, my Inspiron 8600 has randomly stopped seeing the
network, then just as randomly fixed itself.  Last time I ran over to the

I have a NeatGear router. It shows I'm connected Excellent to the internet,
but I can not access any web pages. When I bring up Internet Explorer it
brings up a default page, like I am not connected. Is this due to firewalls?

Have a Dell 8300 PC running XP SR2.
I also have a router connected to the PC by cable, a laptop connected to
the router wirelessly, and Tivo connected to the router wirelessly.

I have xp home on my desktop and laptop. Through a wireless router, I have
access to the internet and to a common printer from both computers.
The deskop can "see" AND access the shared file folders on the laptop, but
the laptop cannot access the files and folders on the desktop.
