I'm tring to setup a network in my home with the main machine having XP Home
& the laptop to have 2000 Pro. I have a D-Link wirless router and I can
access the internet but I can't seem to access and of the shared files or
printers. I have tried workgroups but that hasn't helped ...

Messenger has been "freezing".  In the middle of chat it just stops
sending/receiving messages.  The first couple of times the people who I were
sending to, could still get my messages, but I would not got their responses.
Now they don't get mine 7 I don't get theirs.  IM stays ...

I just installed a linksys wireless router to take advantage of my
thinkpads built in wireless capability. As I write this I am connected
wirelessly so obviously I have it working. But I was wondering the

My laptop will not recognize (and obviously therefore connect) to my (or any

I am running xp pro sp2 on a thinkpad r50e on a wireless network in my home
office with 31 other laptop and a desktop set up with a usb connection
I recently installed Thinkvantage Access Connection.

I have a cable modem (Charter cable), and a wireless Netgear router, and two
wireless computers (desktop and laptop) connected to the router. I surf the
net from both computers. I wanted to network the two computers, so I could
share files and printer between the two.

desktop is out of range of the AP
but within wireless range of laptop...
