I have set up a wireless network between a desktopn and notebook.  Although
the wirless network connection is created, and both devices are in the same
workgroup, I cannot see or access any resources across the connection.

i have sony vaio. i reset my laptop using the recovery disk. after which i m
having problem connecting to my laptop. previously i posted a question and
with help i got my wireless working. but then now when it does work it keeps

i have sony vio running on window xp. i had some problem so used my recovery
disk to put my lap top back to factory settings. after doing tht i cant
connect to my wireless connection. at the moment i can connect to internet
through network cable.

We have a building with various jacks throughout for computers.  Shortly
after the build, a Linksys WRT54G was added for wireless.
So we have our HughesNet device plugged into the Linksys which then DHCPs
the remainder of the building.
