I've been trying to help out a friend with a problem he has with this
Lenovo Thinkpad laptop. Here's the situation:

I have set-up a wireless network in my home.  Cable modem hooked up to my

Have a new laptop with Vista. accessing broadband wired by way of modem

According to the icon on my task bar, it is connected and speed is 100.0
