Greetings and apologies if this issue has been answered before - I have
scoured the Expert Zone newsgroups for a solution and haven't found one.  My
basic problem is I'm unfamiliar with the wireless antennas inside XP laptops
and how they are used to connect to wireless home ...

Well, not really all. I have inbuilt wireless on my Compaq Presario M2000.
If I push the WLAN switch on my computer, and choose 'Ad hoc
(computer-to-computer)', it connects, but to whom and where?

I have had a small Wireless network with two computers and a

OK, My friend just called with this problem - I will visit them later
