I have XP Pro installed with SP2.  Recently I bought a Maxtor 320GB Shared
Storage II Ethernet external drive.  I cannot mount the drive because I have
an issue with Networking.  I have no idea what happened to the files but they

Why is it I have such slow performance in this scenerio?  I have a
